Definition for : Lifecycle of financing sources
The lifecycle of financing resources reflects the relative importance of different funding sources throughout the life of the company: an industrial venture is initially financed with Equity; as the company becomes institutionalised and its Risk diminishes, Debt financing takes over; this in turn frees up Equity capital to be invested in emerging new sectors.
